EWIE is an independent organization for international educational services and program development. Funded by higher educational institutions, enterprises and renowned individuals from the United States and worldwide, EWIE endeavors to promote global educational exchanges, and through which, to encourage cultural and educational understandings between the East and the West.
In recent years, while focusing on young student exchange programs, EWIE has been making its efforts to promote cultural and educational exchanges through various specially designed programs and activities. These include academic and scholarly exchange programs , teacher training and exchange programs, study-abroad programs, scholarship programs, international foundation courses and pre-master courses, Chinese language teaching and learning programs, cultural and educational exhibitions, conferences and seminars. These programs and activities have strongly promoted multilateral and bilateral cultural and educational cooperation, and through these programs and activities, EWIE has won high regards from participating individuals and institutions, as well as from peers in education sector, and has thus gained wide support internationally.
EWIE has established all- around and multi-level cooperation relations with influential education organizations, such as China Education Society. In the meantime, by utilizing its far-reaching international links, EWIE has helped thousands of Chinese students go to the U.K., U.S.A., Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Ireland, New Zealand, France, Spain, Italy and Germany for further academic studies.
On the basis of its research findings on the international trends of educational development, and by drawing on strengths of higher education in various countries, EWIE has developed its own International Foundation Certificate (IFC) Program and International Pre-Master Program (IPMP), US-Elite Program, UK-Elite Program, L' année préparation de éducation pour la France, Deutsch Pre-Masters, Espa?ol Pre-universidad Programa, Italiani Pre- universitari Corsi, Germany Pre-university Program, International Scholastic Aptitude Program for the junior high school graduates. EWIE has also developed joint Education Programs with partners of other countries: "2+2", "3+1", "3+1+1" and "4+0". In addition, EWIE took the lead in China in introducing activities such as Study in China, Career-Planning, Overseas Study Tours and etc. The curricula of the foundation courses embraces the merits of similar programs in the field, and holds together the most popular contents that are required for foundation studies. Both IFC and IPMP have gained wide accreditations from many universities and other educational institutions in the U.K., U.S.A., Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. They have been widely recognized by the general public as providing well-paved pathways for Chinese students to go abroad for further studies.
At secondary education level, EWIE integrates the strengths of high school education in the East and the West, and has developed an International Scholastic Aptitude Program (ISAP), helping the young talents targeting top universities around the world.
…As China is developing rapidly, an increasing number of students from other countries regard China as one of the preferred destinations for study-abroad. Against this backdrop, EWIE is running a number of study centers to deliver the foundation programs, providing reliable and flexible pathways for students from outside China. The students who take the program, upon completion of their courses, can either choose to stay in China for further studies in one of the Chinese universities, or to be transferred to the partner universities in other countries.
In fact, these foundation programs are equally popular among young students from outside China. In the coming years, while globally expending IFC and IPMP programs, EWIE will concentrate on developing more programs through close international cooperation with universities, educational institutions and enterprises around the world, so as to create more unparallel opportunities for young students to go to other countries and experience different life and studies.
