Josh Dean

Global Student Recruitment
 

Responsible for developing strategic initiatives, advising on higher education policy, delivering key projects, systems development and data analysis.
 

Involve in implementing a major customer relations system at Lancaster University which is aiming to modernise how Lancaster University communicates with applicants and agents.
 

Support the Head of Department directly with strategic insights and provide support across the Lancaster University on developing student recruitment strategies.
 

- Josh Dean graduated in 2013 from Lancaster University with a 2:1 in Politics and International Relations.
 

- From 2013 to 2015, Josh Dean worked as an Innovation Coordinator, supporting students in starting up businesses and running activities to development entrepreneurial skills and attitudes.
 

- In Summer 2015, Josh Dean started in Student Recruitment, focusing on recruiting students from across the UK, visiting major exhibitions and schools.
 

- Since 2017, Josh Dean has been the Business Development Manager within the Global Student Recruitment office.

“Originally from Austin, Texas, Dr Remke has taught management extensively across Europe including on executive education programmes and will be taking up the role of Director of the Lancaster MBA for 2019. Dr Remke’s research uses a critical/feminist lens to explore the gendered nature of leadership, organizations, and organizing. She studies the ways that organizational members embody practices such as leadership, diversity management and parental leave policies through communication. She also studies alternative forms of workplace organizational structures and gendered identity in the workplace.”
